"Get-Away Weekend" Anyone who wishes to get their name in the drawing for an overnight stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Bricktown can simply do the following: Send/write/compose a personal email invitation encouraging your homeschool friends to join you at the 2010 Winter Summit event. Be sure to "COPY (CC)" roxanneparks1@yahoo.com for verification purposes. For every five people you personally invite, you name will go in the drawing.

Registration includes all sessions and workshops, conference packet, and a seated luncheon on Saturday. Registration does NOT include hotel room. Nursing infants only; no child care.
Other Information *Nursing Mothers? In order to make this conference a blessing for all those that attend, we will only allow nursing "infants." We cannot allow nursing "toddlers" in the ballroom as they would be a darling distraction to others. If you have a nursing infant, we encourage you to consider bringing a family member or other care-giver so that you can enjoy the sessions without distractions.
*Recording Sessions/Speakers? While we would love to make recordings of the speakers available to you, we are not prepared to do so at this time. If you are aware of a recording company that would like to supply this service as a ministry or at a nominal fee, please contact us at wintersummit@gmail.com .
*Hotel Stay? The Winter Summit registration does NOT include your hotel room. We know the value of a "refreshed and encouraged" homeschool mom. We highly recommend that you make this an annual weekend for renewal and encouragement... part of your homeschool planning calendar. Staying in the hotel adds an additional benefit that only "time away" can offer. Since you can put 4 to a room, your price point will be low for the sweet fellowship of like-minded sojourners. Also, and especially if you are an out of town guest, consider making it a "weekend away" by staying Saturday night to enjoy additional fellowship as well as great dining, shopping and movie options that are so close to the hotel.
*Dress Code? Something comfortable! We want you to "come anyway that makes you happy".....for some that will be their tennies and jeans, for some that will be a skirt or slacks.
*Can my husband come? Although we truly value the importance of homeschool dads, this is a women's only event that allows for a lot of transparency and deep fellowship. Some of our out of town guests last year brought their husbands and then stayed over Saturday night to enjoy a little get-away time together.
* What about cancellations and refunds? We understand that emergencies may arise. If that is the case you will be refunded your money. Otherwise, due to our financial contracts and restrictions we will only be able to refund you 50% after February 26, 2010 which is two weeks out.
