Shirley first came to know Jesus Christ while a student at OSU. She married the man who helped disciple her, David Quine. Together they have ministered to college students, children of all ages, and parents who desire to disciple their children. They have shared 41 incredible years of marriage, been blessed with nine children, five married-in-children, and one wonderful grandson. They have home schooled all their children, and began Cornerstone Curriculum in 1984 for the purpose of assisting parents in teaching their children from the biblical world view. David and Shirley have encouraged parents through their writing and speaking for almost 30 years. To abide in the Lord Jesus and to help young moms to do the same is her passion. When time allows she enjoys doing embroidery, gardening and taking long walks with her grandson, Andrew.
